Former mayor of Toronto Rob Ford, two years ago was at the center of scandals because of his addiction to drugs and alcohol, died at the age of 46 from cancer, said yesterday the current mayor is John Tory.
“Received the sad news that councillor and former mayor of Toronto Rob Ford died,” he wrote in his microblog Twitter.
“He was first and foremost an incredibly humane man, whose presence in our city will be missed,” wrote tori in an official statement on the occasion of the death of ex-mayor.
