In the Leningrad region were searched from the relatives of the founder of the social network of “Vkontakte” Pavel Durov in connection with the fraud case, according to “Fontanka”. According to the St. Petersburg newspaper, the searches were held in the apartments of the owners of the company “INTECH” (she built the data center “Vkontakte” in Vsevolozhsk district of Leningrad region), including the brother-in-law Durov Pavel Bondarenko, who was one of the owners of “Inteha”. The data confirmed the source RIA “Novosti”close to the administration “Inteha”.
According to “Fontanka”, searches were held on October 24 after the owner of the store is a subsidiary of the social network – did not wait for the end of complicated economic disputes in Arbitration court, and wrote a statement to the police, pointing to signs of fraud in the actions of the company.
Data center on an area of 8.5 ha were established in abandoned industrial buildings between the villages Novoserhiivka and Koltushi. The work was carried out in 2011-2012 by the forces of the St. Petersburg Intekh, OOO. Then the social network was still in charge of the film, and one of the owners “Inteha” was the brother of former civil wife Durov Pavel Bondarenko. Durov sold the data center in 2015 1 billion rubles, after leaving the social network. The data center belongs to “Itsva” subsidiary company of the social network.
Claims in connection with the construction is on both sides. As follows from the materials of the Arbitration court, as of July 2016, the former contractor (“INTECH”) requires the customer 46 million roubles, and the customer (ultimately, the very “Vkontakte”) – 59,7 million roubles. Both companies are dissatisfied with the cost of the work. Intekh, OOO argues that “Itsva” underpaid for work performed, and “Itsva”, on the contrary, that the estimates were inflated.
However, the case of arbitration proceedings was a criminal after “Itsva” in the summer of 2016 questioned the authenticity of a number of acts of acceptance and other documentation and filed a police report.
Thus, the police conducted searches at relatives of the founder “Vkontakte” to the statement “daughters” of the social network. In addition, specifies “Fontanka”, searches were held two days before the next session of the Arbitration court under the claim “Icvi” to “Inteha”.
