Oleg Popov was born on 31 July 1930. His circus career began in the 1950s. He was known to the General public in the image of “Sunny the clown”. Since 1991 Oleg Popov lived and worked in Germany, where he moved when he married a German woman. There he organized his own circus program, lived and worked in the town of Egloffstein under the stage name “Happy Hans”. In 2015, the clown for the first time in 24 years arrived in Russia.
