The police interrogated the leader of the “Christian state” Alexander Kalinin and was released on his own recognizance. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to an informed source.
According to him, Kalina did not put under arrest, since he was not directly involved in the burning car near the office of Konstantin Dobrynin, counsel for the Director Alexey Uchitel.
On 11 September it became known that the office Dobrynin was burned two cars, and a number were scattered scraps of paper on which is written “For “Matilda” to burn”. In fact the incident initiated a criminal case on deliberate damage of property.
Subsequently, in the framework of the investigation of this case was delayed Alexander Kalinin, Yuri Kalinin, Alexander Bayanov and Denis Santaluz. All except Alexander Kalinin, September 21, was arrested by a Moscow court for two months – until November 11, 2017.
The slogan “For “Matilda” to burn” refers to the film by Alexei Uchitel “Matilda”, which tells about the relationship of Emperor Nicholas II with the ballet dancer Mathilde Kschessinska. State Duma Deputy Natalya Poklonskaya considered that the film denigrates the memory of the canonized Emperor and launched a powerful public campaign against the film. On the background of the campaign were arson attacks on vehicles at the office of the lawyer of the Teacher.
