The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, who feared the victory of trump, invited Americans to move to the British capital
The mayor of London Sadiq Khan urged Americans disappointed by the victory of Donald trump at the election of the President of the United States, to move to the British capital. This statement he made at a joint press conference with President of Google Sundar Pichai.
“Millions of people, I am told, used the search engine Google after the elections on Tuesday. We know that millions use it every day. But I heard that one of the most popular searches was “how to emigrate”, – quotes the mayor, the newspaper Evening standard.
Khan, who is a native of Pakistan, appealed to Americans who thought of emigration: “If talented people from the U.S. want to come here to London, my message is very simple – London open”.

But he clearly won the presidential election in the United States. This campaign has divided America and the world, for obvious reasons, emotions were running high. I hope that Donald trump will now do everything in its power to bring people together who have been separated. I wish him luck,” he was quoted review Evening standard.
As for trump, he shrugged off criticism from the mayor of the British capital. “When he won, I wished him success. Now it is not my concern. Donald trump also added that statements by Sadiq Khan in his address was “very rude”, and promised to remember every word the mayor of London floor.
