The computer system of the Ministry of defense and Japan self-defense Forces came under attack by hackers, said on Sunday Agency Kyodo , citing sources in the Ministry. According to him, the incident occurred back in September.

The scale of the damage caused by the cyber attack, is still not clarified. However, according to experts, the attack was committed by highly skilled burglars, which, perhaps, is a foreign country. There are fears that hackers managed to access sensitive information, said the Agency interlocutor.

In connection with the cyber attack Japanese officials and military are taking steps to enhance security. In particular, according to Kyodo, after the attack the Ministry of defense of Japan has temporarily banned its employees to use the Internet. In the Department reports of burglary and not comment.
