The Ministry of agriculture considers it necessary to introduce a minimum retail price (MRP) on “still wines” (all but sparkling, on which MRTS introduced last summer) in 2017. MRC “still wines” can be set at the level of 200-250 rubles per bottle of 0.75 L. This measure will improve the quality of the wine, which consume the Russians, said the head of the Department. However, the main thing – “to find the right price,” he said.

On 14 October, the Ministry of agriculture introduced the Ministry of economic development and Ministry of Finance draft amendments to the law on regulation of the alcohol market.
