The Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation will not consider expert opinion on the movie “Matilda”, presented to the state Duma Natalya Poklonskaya, when making decision on issuance of rental certificates at the picture, reports TASS with reference to first Deputy culture Minister Vladimir Aristarkhov, who spoke at the forum “United Russia” “Culture is a national priority” in Omsk.

Film premiere to be held October 6, 2017 at the Mariinsky theatre – this will be the first movie premiere in the modern history of the Mariinsky theatre. In Russian and foreign hire “Matilda” will be released on 26 October.
The film tells about the relationship of the heir to the throne, the future Emperor Nicholas II and ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya in the background of events of national history. The film was shot in areas directly related to the plot: in the Great, the Mariinsky and Alexandrinsky theaters, as well as in Tsarskoe Selo, Peterhof, Pavlovsk, Yusupov Palace, the marble Palace.
In the film you can see the ceremony of the coronation of Emperor Nicholas II in the assumption Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin, which was built a unique backdrop, and the tragedy at Khodynka field, taken with the involvement of more than two thousand actors for crowd scenes.
