EMERCOM of Russia will hold an all-Russian training for civil defense, which will cover more than 40 million people. Training will be held from 4 to 7 October, told the TASS Director of the Department of civil defence of Ministry of emergency situations Oleg Manolo.
“Rescuers together with other services will work out actions for liquidation of consequences of various types of emergencies, both natural and man-made disasters to improve the effectiveness of forces of protection of population and territories”, – said the representative of the MOE.
According to him, the training will be attended by more than 40 million people, more than 200 thousand specialists of emergency rescue teams, about 50 thousand units of equipment”. Rescuers attract Federal Executive authorities, regional leaders, local governments and organizations.
In full involvement of forces of EMERCOM of Russia, including the rescue military formations of the Ministry of emergencies, emergency rescue teams, divisions of paramilitary mine rescue units and the state inspection on small size vessels, division of the State fire service of EMERCOM of Russia aviation. Also will be involved in volunteer emergency response groups.
In the course of training will be checked by the reality of planning for different time frames and the readiness of all forces and means to action. “In practice will be worked out, the notification and collection leadership of the Federal ministries and departments, Executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation and local self-government”, – said Manolo.
Will be worked out action for evacuation, issuance of personal protective equipment, deployment of sanitary and washing points. “In addition, in readiness will be given protective constructions of civil defense. In coordination with regional and municipal authorities will be checked by the system for emergency notification of the population about occurrence of emergencies or threat,” – said the representative of the MOE.
Medical institutions check with the purpose of evaluating the quality of medical care.
