In one of the oldest football clubs in Russia, the Moscow “torpedo” there was a change of owner. Control passed to the group “Rossium”, the sole owner of which is businessman Roman Avdeyev, according to the newspaper “Kommersant”.

According to the source, the change of owner will result in personnel changes in the management of the club, the main one being the dismissal of Alexander Tumanova, who was the President of “torpedo” in 2007.

With activities Tumanova torpedolike fans linked the degradation of the legendary club and regularly performed demanding his resignation.

Previously owned by Andreeva concern “Rossium” became the owner of the stadium named after Eduard Streltsov, once the former home for the team.

Club “torpedo” was founded in 1924 and became one of the most renowned in the Soviet Union. He has three times won the championship six times and extracted the USSR Cup. In the post-Soviet era results legendary team declined. In 2006, she for the first time in its history left the top division of the national championship, and two years later flew even from the first League and lost the professional status.

In 2014, the “torpedo” has returned to the Premier League, where he lasted not more than a season. Today the team plays in the zone “Center” of the third grade football division in the country.
