Team New Zealand Rugby for the first time in history lost to the Irish team, losing with a score of 29:40 in the match of the autumn International series of games. The fight took place in the American Chicago.

Autumn international series of games in 2016 held with participation of 10 teams: Australia, Argentina, New Zealand, South Africa, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.

The first Rugby match between New Zealand and Ireland was held on 25 November 1905 in Dublin, the new Zealanders have won with the score 15:0. Since then, the team played 29 matches in which the Irish one match was able to take a draw (20 Jan 1973 – 10:10), and the current was the first win for the Europeans in the history of confrontation.

In addition, the Irish managed to end an 18-game winning streak team New Zealand in the international arena, notes TASS.
