Former senior Secretary to the President of South Korea, Ahn Jung Beom arrested for 48 hours after interrogation on charges of corruption and abuse of power, according to South Korean Central Prosecutor’s office. “The reason for the arrest were fears that An Jung Beom could destroy evidence or put pressure on key witnesses”, – stated in the message.
According to the Agency Yonhap, South Korean President Park Geun-Hye has appointed the head of his administration, Han-Kwan Oka, who previously held the post of Chairman of the presidential Committee for national reconciliation.
