The Chinese leader during the business forum may declare and the intention of China to invest in one of the largest infrastructure projects in Britain – the construction of high-speed railway line from London to Manchester. Earlier, the head of British Finance Minister George Osborne during his visit to China has encouraged Chinese companies to invest in the construction of tunnels, bridges and roads.
Chinese telecommunication equipment manufacturer Huawei is expected to announce the investment in graphene research, conducted at the University of Manchester. Itself XI Jinping will visit the British office on Wednesday, and the University and research center on Thursday. Huawei is working in the UK for 14 years.
The value of British exports to China have grown over the last five years from 10 to 23 billion dollars.
