The priest of a foreign car brought down to death the pedestrian in Moscow and fled the scene of the accident
In the capital there was one more road accident with participation of the representative of the Orthodox Church. As reported by Life, the priest who was at the wheel of his BMW, hit and killed 52-year-old man on the Leningrad prospectus.
The victim was standing at the dividing line, from hitting at high speed it was thrown several meters away on another car from the opposite flow.
The result of the received traumas the pedestrian has died on the spot. As for the driver who committed the collision, he, contrary to the requirement of the law, fled the scene of the accident, but several hours later was detained by the police.
Currently his identity is established. According to media reports, the hitting has made 45-year-old priest Nicholas Levkin. He’s already admitted that he was driving a BMW. Now in fact the accident criminal case is already brought.
Law enforcement agencies shall determine the details of the incident. Meanwhile, the media publish information on perpetrators of hitting the Minister of the Church. Thus, according to the website “Dniy”Nicholas Levkin served as a clergyman in the Church of All Saints in Kulishki. In 1997, he was ordained to the diaconate and later to the dignity of presbyter.
