The Prosecutor’s office of the Netherlands, who heads the Joint investigation team that is investigating the cause of the crash was shot down in 2014 in the Donbass Boeing 777, had promised to submit a report about the weapon used for attack on flight MH17, in the autumn of this year. In the Ministry stressed that the report will not constitute the final results of the investigation, said in a press releaseof the Ministry.

The Prosecutor’s office said that, despite notable progress of the investigation, pieces of data, definitive conclusions are still lacking. In particular, the Commission members still are waiting for Russia information about the location of the Buk system and its technical characteristics.

In March the Prime Minister of the Netherlands mark Rutte acknowledgedthat his country is experiencing difficulties in the criminal investigation of the crash of the downed Boeing 777. “It is always difficult to say how long it will take the criminal investigation and completed it successfully. This is particularly true for such complex international cases like this”, – he explained.

The aircraft company “Malaysian airlines” was shot down on 17 July 2014 in the Eastern Donetsk region. On Board the ship, EN route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, there were 283 passengers and 15 crew members, all of them died. Among the dead were citizens of ten countries, most of them – the citizens of the Netherlands.

A criminal investigation of the tragedy is engaged in a Joint investigation team composed of the representatives of Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine.

In October last year, the security Council of the Netherlands (SBN) issued a final report on the results of the crash investigation, saying that the Boeing 777 was shot down issued from Russia-manufactured anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk 9M38 missile with a warhead 9Н314М.

In January 2016 of the Federal air transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has acted with criticism of this report. The Agency sent a letter to the Dutch authorities, which indicated “significant new facts” about the collapse of the liner. The Federal air transport Agency is considered an invalid conclusion about the type of missile, also the Ministry does not agree with the conclusion of Dutch experts on the spatial position of the missile relative to the downed airliner. Earlier the experts found that the missile “earth – air” exploded less than one meter to the left from the cockpit of the Boeing 777.

In early January of 2016, the founder of the independent expert and journalist group Bellingcat’s Elliot Higgins reportedthat the Dutch Prosecutor’s office is studying the report, which contained the names and photographs of the Russian military involved in the crash of flight MH17. According to him, it is about 20 commanders and soldiers who could know about the movements of the launcher “Buk” that shot down the plane.

At the end of February Bellingcat group presented a new report on the Boeing crash. In the investigation were the names and titles of the Russian military, which experts suspected of involvement in the attack on the plane with anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk”. The Russian defense Ministry denied the “conspiracy theories” in the Bellingcat report.

In mid-may, the Network got the video moving anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk” with four missiles in the Donetsk region. In Bellingcat said that this video fits in with that over the delivery of SAM “Buk” in the Donbass were Russian military. Earlier, the project experts have establishedthat MH17 was shot down by a Buk at number 332, which is assigned to the Russian 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade.
