The fight in the second round of the primaries are the two candidates who received the most votes in the first round. It was ahead of former Prime Minister of France Francois Fillon, who was supported by 44.1 per cent of the voters, and considered the main favorite of the race the mayor of Bordeaux Alain Juppe, who received 28.6% of votes.
