Space mission of the Rosetta spacecraft, which has long been in orbit around comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko ended with a collision with a cosmic body flying out of the Solar system. Along with Rosetta on the surface of the comet left the probe Philaefirst landed on such an object.

On approaching the comet from Rosetta’s face was reported in a special account in Twitter. There was also published the final series of tweets with a picture of a smiling spacecraft and signature in different languages: “Mission accomplished”.

Earlier, the European space Agency noted that Rosetta will encounter the comet surface at a low speed, but is unlikely to withstand the impact.
