Last weekend in Ostersund, Sweden two relay races started the next world Cup on biathlon.

The Russian team consisting of Olga Podchufarova, Tatiana Akimova, Maxim Tsvetkov and Anton Shipulin finished fourth in the mixed relay, giving way to bronze in the final shot.

The distance 2×6 km + 2×7,5 km with eight firing lines, the Russians managed to do it in 1 hour 11 minutes 41.6 seconds back, with five penalties.

First place with six penalties, was taken by the representatives of Norway (1:10.57,1; 0+6), second went to team Germany (+33,7; 0+6), and the third came to the finish Italians (+44,2; 1+12), drive with a penalty.

At the finish line Shipulin was third, but in the last meters he missed the Italian Dominic Windisch, which eventually fell behind by three tenths of a second.

Later held SUPERMIXin which Anton Babikov and Svetlana Sleptsova ranked eighth, with one penalty and nine misses.

Victory in inaugural single mixed relay was won by French biathletes Marie Dorin habert and Martin Fourcade, who committed four penalties for eight shooting. Second place went to the Austrians Lisa Theresa Hauser and Simon Eder (+16,0; 6), third were the Germans Franziska Preuss and Erik lesser (+25,2; 5).

November 30 in Ostersund women will start individual races.
