The proportion of the population, marking the deterioration of the economic situation in Russia in October increased significantly, almost one third of Russians consider themselves badly affected by the crisis. About it as transfers TASS, said in the November issue of monthly monitoring of socio-economic status and well-being of the population, published by the Institute for social analysis and forecasting, Russian presidential Academy of national economy and public administration (Ranepa).
In September there was an increase of positive ratings, and in October 2016 has increased markedly negative sentiment. In particular, from 20.1% to 23.4% increase in the number of people, marking a slight deterioration, while the share of those who see a marked deterioration, increased from 17.3% in September to 24.7% in October.
Ideas about time prospects out of the crisis in October has also changed for the worse, experts say Ranepa.
“The total number of those who in varying degrees affected by the crisis, is three-quarters of the population. And 27,5% consider themselves significantly affected, which is 3% higher than a month ago”, – said in a release monitoring.
According to experts of Russian Academy of saving in the consumption of goods and services remains the main form of adaptation of the population to the difficult economic situation.
“Even in the group of relatively well-off Russians this tactic is resorted to nearly half (47.8% in October), its representatives, while in the low-income group is 85%. Stockpiling of products is also widespread, particularly among low-income,” – noted the authors of the study.
