The security service of Ukraine closed the entrance to the country of about 140 Russian cultural figures
A list of Russian cultural figures, which the security Service of Ukraine (SBU) banned entry to the country, consists of about 140 people. About it as transfers TASS, said in an official response to the intelligence agencies, which on Friday published in Facebook by the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from “block of Petro Poroshenko” Olga Chervakova.
“The security service of Ukraine banned entry to the territory of the country for approximately 140 workers of culture of the Russian Federation, including about 50 of them in the period from 3 December 2015 to date,” – said in the text, which is dated October 29, 2016.
In the document signed by the head of SBU Vasily Gritsak ban is due to the fact that the activities and statements of the Russian artists are contrary to the interests of Ukraine.
“I hope this closes the discussion about the total idleness of the security services in this direction, as well as discussion about the need to make room in the parliamentary bills that absolutely nothing will change,” commented Chervakova received a response.
Request “in the form of an ultimatum demanded to send the activists of one public-political movement which claimed that in December 2015 was sent to the SBU appeal with a list of artists, promoters, but that appeal supposedly none of the departments have not responded.

Earlier, the Ministry of culture of Ukraine has published a list of 83 Russian and international cultural figures who, in the opinion of the authorities, pose a threat to national security. In the “black list” includes, in particular, Directors Karen Shakhnazarov and Pavel Lungin, the musicians Alexander Rosenbaum, Sergey Penkin, Nikolay Rastorguev, actors Vasily Lanovoy, Valentine Gaft, Oleg Tabakov, Valentina Talyzina, Valentina Telichkina, Natalya Varley, singers Lev Leshchenko, Joseph Kobzon and many others.
In addition, the list includes the leader of the American rock band Limp Bizkit’s Fred durst, boxer Roy Jones Jr. and others. The list is based on the submission of the SBU, and pursuant to the requirements of the law on the protection of information of Ukraine, ex-President of Georgia.
In a “white list” of the Ukrainian Ministry of culture was, in particular, the band Zemfira, Andrei Makarevich, Yuri Shevchuk, actors Liya Akhedzhakova, Oleg Basilashvili, Valentin Gaft.
