Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina stated that he had received threats before the semifinal match of Kremlin Cup against Svetlana Kuznetsova, which eventually ended with the score 6:1 6:7, 6:4 in favor of the representatives of Russia.

“For me, this week was very hard, – quotes the words Svitolina “Soviet Sport”. – I got a lot of messages and even threats about what happens if you win. These messages sometimes come after the matches, but I don’t pay attention. Wrote that know where I live which hotel, I tried to guard against this, but it so happened that I saw these messages”.

In the final, Kuznetsova will meet Daria Gavrilova, which for some time is Australia, as in Russia it is considered “hopeless”.

Gavrilova in 2010 became the winner of a single tournament youth Olympics in the Russian team and won the Junior US Open, but then in her promising career declined.

When you change citizenship domestic coaches believed it was futile, stating that she did not need Russian tennis and to regret its loss is not worth it.

In case of a victory on the Kremlin Cup the 31-year-old Kuznetsova qualified for the final tournament of the Women’s tennis Association (WTA), which runs from 24 to 30 October in Singapore.
