The frontman of the German band Rammstein till Lindemann visited closed a theatrical reading of his works in the theater “Gogol-center” in Moscow, reports TASS. The action was timed to the release in Russia of his poetry collection “In the quiet night. The lyrics,” first published with translation into Russian language.

As noted by the organizers of the event, “a dream come true Tilla: he wanted his poems have been published in Russia – in a country where people still read.” Lindemann after coming to the theater took place in the auditorium, and the accompanying musician people warned about the prohibition of shooting what is happening on stage and the Lindemann.

At the end of the performance, one of the artists handed the musician a sheet of paper on which was written a Latin phrase on the Russian language: “It is very good when someone understands your art”. Lindemann entered her room, then took off his jacket and covered them the artist, who poured water at the time of submission.

This is the first visit Lindemann in Russia in the status of the poet. On Friday he will take part in the presentation of his poetry collection. The Russian edition of the book – bilingual: next to the original is given to the translation of poetry, which involved fans of the musician.

In publishing house “Eksmo”, which published the book, the poems describe Lindemann as “provocative and passionate,” and his work as “balancing on the edge and defying society.” The book is marked “18+” because it contains profanity. Illustrator collection became a friend of Lindemann is the artist Matthias Mathis.

Till Lindemann is the vocalist and songwriter of the metal bands Rammsteim and Lindemann. In 2002 he published his first collection of poems “Knife”.
