The state Department announced the visit of Victoria Nuland to Moscow to discuss the situation in the Donbass
Assistant Secretary of state Victoria Nuland once again will visit Moscow to meet with “senior Russian officials”. This is stated in the message of the US state Department.
First, Nuland will travel to Brussels, where he is currently the U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry. 4 Oct, Kerry will deliver a speech on transatlantic relations at the German Marshall Fund.
Then Nuland will arrive in Moscow to discuss the situation in Eastern Ukraine and next steps needed to implement the Minsk agreements in support of the Norman Quartet (Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France) and of the trilateral contact group, the report says.
The previous visit of Victoria Nuland took place in Moscow, in may. Then the assistant gossekretar the United States held talks with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. During the meeting they discussed the situation in the Donbas.
