The state Department has considered the statements of the defense Ministry about the bombing in Syria is not worthy of response
The official U.S. state Department spokesman John Kirby said that the comments of the representative of the Ministry of defense of Russia Igor Konashenkov about the bombing of hospitals in Syria do not deserve a reply. Konashenkov earlier expressed the view that Syrian hospital, which allegedly attacking Russian aircraft, exist only in the imagination of Americans.
“Yeah, I saw those comments, and they, by my standards, not even deserve an answer. It’s not John Kirby reported about the strikes on hospitals,” said state Department spokesman during the press conference, the transcript of which is published on the Agency’s website.
According to him, the bombing of hospitals in Syria report authoritative sources. “I don’t know whose aircraft strikes in these hospitals. I can only say that about the mentioned incidents report dear Agency. And, in truth, it doesn’t matter whose planes drop bombs – Russian or Syrian – that has to stop,” – said Kirby.
Konashenkov mid-week rejected the data about the shelling of hospitals. “The message of Qatar TV channel “al Jazeera” in the UK “the Syrian Observatory of human rights” and other similar resources about the alleged bombing by aircraft of VC of Russia “for the third day of the hospital” in Aleppo, are a common lie,” he said.
The representative of the defense Ministry also stressed that the VC of the Russian Federation and the Syrian air force does not conduct combat missions last 28 days.
Kirby, in turn, declined to say which cities are located the alleged victims to the hospital. He also refused to give “credible organizations”, from which information was obtained about the bombed-out hospitals, and noted that the Department has and other sources of information that confirm the report data.
