Washington has made another step towards the deterioration of bilateral relations with Cuba and adopted a decision on the expulsion of 15 Cuban diplomats from the United States. It was a response to the scandal of the attacks on the staff of the U.S. state Department in Cuba with an unknown acoustic weapons.

According to the Agency AP, on Tuesday, October 3, the state Department gave the Cuban Ambassador in the United States a list of 15 people who must leave the country within a week. In Washington said that this step aims to restore parity on the number of diplomats in both countries.

Last week Washington announced the downsizing of diplomats in Havana by 60 percent because of doubts about their safety in Cuba. In the United States emphasize that while not accusing the official of the government of Cuba in the organization of attacks on employees of the state Department. It is only that at the moment, American diplomats are unable to feel safe in Cuba.
