The state Duma on Friday night took in the second and once in third and final reading a bill on the revival of the Russian sports complex “Ready for labor and defense” (TRP).
In the new edition requirements of the TRP are three levels of difficulty corresponding to gold, silver or bronze distinctions.
“Among the important amendments is the rule that a person may be admitted to deliver the standards TRP only if there is a certificate on passage of medical examination”, – told TASS member of the Duma Committee on physical culture, sport and youth Affairs, President of the International Sambo Federation Vasily Shestakov.
The law introduces a new article on testing the implementation of standards TRP, which will be created in the form of NGOs. They will represent persons who have passed tests, for awarding of the icon TRP.
At the same time, sports clubs, responsible for the training of citizens to pass rules TRP will be entitled to represent citizens who had passed the tests, for the departmental awards of the Ministry of sports. Clubs will be required to participate in the organization of work on development of physical culture and sport among different categories of citizens and population groups.
“The key here is the different categories that it is clear that sport and a healthy lifestyle need to attract not only young people, but also people of Mature and old age, of course, with all medical restrictions,” – said Shestakov.
Another is written in the law the responsibility of sports clubs – providing conditions for the protection and strengthening of health of persons undergoing training to deliver the standards TRP. The document stipulated measures of financial, property, informational, consulting support clubs.
The law stipulates that the implementation of the standards of the TRP is voluntary and free.
The government will submit to the President before may 1, annually report on the level of physical preparedness of the population.
The complex GTO restored by the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. It consists of 11 levels for different age groups. From January 2016 the complex will be implemented in all schools in the country, 2017 – among working youth, students and employees, and 2018 – among the whole population.
