The state Duma has approved the amendment submitted by MPs from the faction “United Russia” on distribution of the lump sum in the amount of 5 thousand rubles and for military retirees. The head of the Duma Committee for labor and social policy Yaroslav Nilov (LDPR) during a meeting said that the payout to retirees will require approximately 5 billion rubles, reports the Agency “Interfax”

On the eve of Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets saidthat the government decided to distribute one-time payment of not only the pensioners from the civil sector, but also on the military. Money for this task will be allocated from the reserve funds, she said.

Money on military pensioners has been found after the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I understand that the logic of the authors of this bill: 24 thousand (rubles) average pension of military pensioners, 13 thousand in the civilian sector. Nevertheless, we are told that this measure will apply to all categories,” said the afternoon of 8 November, the head of state.
