November 2016 was rich in astronomical phenomena. On the night of 11 November over the Northern hemisphere was marked by a “star rain”, from 14 to 21 November in the constellation Leo, you can watch the Leonids meteor stream, but the most rare is a supermoon, which occurs on Monday, November 14.

This is the second of three SUPERLINE 2016. During this phenomenon the Moon is approaching the Earth at the closest distance and the visible disk of the satellite becomes larger than usual, writes RIA “Novosti”.
