Russia is not ready to soften its position in the conflict with Tajikistan, Dushanbe is not yet agree on the flights of Russian airlines in full. It is reported TASS with reference to the answer of the press service of the Ministry of transport at the request of the Agency.
“The Russian position is the same: the Tajik side should agree on the flights of Russian airlines in full, including flights from the airport in Zhukovsky,” – said the press service. Earlier in the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation said that Russia plans to stop flights to Tajikistan from the 8th of November, if the authorities of the Republic will not change its position on the airport Zhukovsky. The relevant article appeared on 3 November in the newspaper “Kommersant”.
As explained in Department, the Tajik authorities refuse to receive flights of the Russian companies from Zhukovsky, as it is referred to the airport of the Moscow aviation hub (UIA), while according to the legislation of the Russian Federation Zhukovsky added to Ramenskom aviation hub (Moscow region). International flights of UIA are subject to bilateral agreements, which mean equal terms of transport between countries.
The Tajik authorities called the article in “Kommersant” a provocation, although he acknowledged the existence of problems related to organization of air traffic. Counsellor of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Russia Sarvar bakhti TASS reported that the Tajik side considers it necessary to conclude a new agreement on air communication with Russia and proposes to conduct 24 of November in Dushanbe a meeting of representatives of interested departments.
The head of Ministry of transport of Tajikistan Sherali Gangasta said Friday that the delegation of Tajikistan has already left to Moscow “for the solution of problems in the field of aviation”. He stressed that “Tajikistan will protect your aviation market and insists on observance of rules of flights on parity basis” (quoted by RIA “Novosti”).
Meanwhile, the Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation talks with Tajikistan denied. “In the coming days of negotiations with Tajik colleagues (for air service) is not scheduled”, – said the representative of the Russian Ministry.
