The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan was closed on Sunday due to “precautionary measures” after the two attacks, the Taliban terrorists: the Embassy of Germany and major NATO military base in the country.

The decision to close the Embassy was taken after the day before it was attacked by militants at a military base Bagram near Kabul. Victims of this attack were two American soldiers and two contractor, another 16 people were injured.
Two days earlier, in the Afghan city of Mazar-I-Sharif was attacked by the German Consulate. The victims of this attack were six people, more than 100 were injured.
