In the United States at the state University of Ohio unknown massacre. According to preliminary data, as a result of incident at least ten people were injured varying degrees of severity. The attacker himself was killed, reports CNN.

On the official website of the University on Twitter at 9:56 a.m. local time appeared the message that the campus is an armed man. The University administration urged everyone nearby to hide in the shelter and contact emergency services if in danger.

After almost two hours of social media came the announcement that the campus was once again safe, the University is not stated on the elimination hand. The University, however, announced that all classes on Monday were cancelled.

According to journalists, the assailant was killed. Later picture of the incident for journalists clarified the head of the security Department of the University Monica Mall.

“At 9:52 unknown crashed his car into a group of people on campus. Immediately after that, he jumped out of the car and attacked people holding a large knife. By happy coincidence, there was a police officer who shot and neutralized the attacker,” she said.

According to recent reports, the tragedy affected ten people. They were all taken to a nearby hospital. The condition of one of victims is estimated as critical.

Later, the journalists of NBC reported that the attackers were 18-year-old native of Somalia Abdul Razak Ali Artan. According to journalists, in 2007 he and his family moved from Somalia to Pakistan, where seven years later they moved to the United States. According to preliminary data, the attacker had previously received a residence permit in the United States.
