Initially, a number of media, in particular the Agency “Moscow”, reported that on January 14 a woman was killed after the house on the street, in Aviation Elevator, located on the seventh floor level, collapsed.

But later the Investigative Committee said that the Elevator fell because of cable breakage, resulting in the deaths of a woman who was in the cockpit. Capital investigators opened a criminal case under article “Rendering of the works that do not meet safety requirements”, told journalists the senior assistant to the head of the Main investigatory management SK the Russian Federation on the capital Yulia Ivanova.
