Russian weight-lifter Nadezhda Evstyukhina and Marina Shainova and runner Tatyana Firova have to return medals at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing on the results of the inspection of doping samples in accordance with the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) published on the organization’s website.

The international weightlifting Federation and the world Association of athletics federations is requested to revise the results of the tournaments with the participation of the Russians.

Evstyukhina at the Olympics in 2008 won a bronze medal in the weight category of 75 kg. Shainova won the silver medal in the 58 kg. weight Firova took the silver medal in the 4×400 m.

Evstyukhina is also a three-time world champion (2011, 2013, 2014). Shainova four – time European champion (2005-2007, 2011). Firova – double world champion (2005, 2013).
