In the all-Russian action “Night of arts” in different Russian regions 3, 4 and 5 November will be organized more than 1,700 events, including meetings with writers, actors, artists, musicians, various workshops, concerts, performances, exhibitions. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of culture Alexander Zhuravsky, quoted by RIA “Novosti”.
This year “Night of arts” will be held under the motto “Time to create”, and the main events timed to the Year of Russian cinema and the Day of national unity. As said Zhuravskii, Muscovites and residents of other regions can create a personalized program to events of interest on the portal artnight.culture.ru. For the first time all events will be presented in the app “night of the arts”, available for Android and iOS.
So, residents of St. Petersburg will be able to participate in the cognitive quest in the Russian ethnographic Museum. In Sevastopol, State Museum-reserve “Chersonese” will hold the light and music tour of the city. Tula state Museum of weapons opens the secrets of stunt. Khabarovsk regional Museum named after Grodekov will turn into the set, where festival guests will be able to pass the audition and verify the knowledge of the national cinema.
Moscow will become the main platform of the campaign – prepare 400 events
As noted by the head of Department of culture of Moscow Alexander Kibovsky, the capital will become the main platform for the campaign. The city will host 400 events, including open sites. The organizers expect about 300 thousand participants. Visitors will find more than 270 theaters, museums and concert venues of Moscow. They will open after 18:00 and will work till late.
The historian Boris Kondakov will hold three tours of the Moscow Central ring. The waiting room of the Kiev station will become a stage for children from the Academy of choral art named after Victor Popov. Also citizens will be able to hear the original jazz vocals, Polina Kasyanova, indie-rock from a band Glintshake and the concert of the Moscow ensemble of modern music.
Passengers of the Moscow metro will see performances at different subway stations. The actors workshop of Dmitry Brusnikina will present a theatrical anthology based on the history of the Russian state in the genre of storytelling, participants of group “СоусKefаль” sing ironic songs about life to the accompaniment of household objects and theatre “Ballet Moskva” will be presented at metro’s one-act play “Equus”.
November 3 in the action “Night of arts” will take part the Moscow Kremlin Museums. “In the framework of festival “Cinema of the Kremlin”, which will display rare newsreels of the Moscow Kremlin for the last 120 years, as well as the best films produced in the Moscow Kremlin Museums. The festival will take place from 19:00 in the new lecture hall of the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin at Manezhnaya str., 7.
In the Moscow Central Museum of musical culture, 19:00 start concert from the cycle “Sound the instruments of the State collection of unique musical instruments of Russia”.
In the Museum of Sergei Prokofiev at 18:00 there will be an art educational program “PRO Kino”.
The memorial estate of Feodor Chaliapin at 19:30 will start the ball in the style of the modern era. The event will take participants in the historical society “Ball at the Russian country estate”.
On 3 and 4 November the campaign will also be held in the Museum town Pushkin Museum. Of A. S. Pushkin. The Central platform will be the estate of the Golitsyns and the project “Building impressions. Walk with a Troubadour”. The visitors can expect tours, sound installations and poetic duel. The program will start at 18:00.
4 November-free tickets will be accessible for all exhibition Galleries of art in Europe and America of XIX-XX centuries and the Main building of the Pushkin Museum, with the exception of the exhibition Raphael.
At ENEA on November 4 and 5 will be free to attend six exhibitions: “Urban transport in the USSR. As all together come to the end…” in the pavilion N67 “Karelia”, “Russia makes itself” in the pavilion N26 (“Polytech”), “movie Time” in the pavilion N66 “Culture”, “Space: the birth of a new era” in hall N1 “Central”, “not available for adults. A child’s plane” Yak-42 “#проект64: T/DEPENDENCE” in the N64 pavilion “Optics”. All exhibitions will run for 4 November, and “movie Time” – 4 and 5 November.
On 4 November there will also be tours of the Soviet era. The group will meet at the monument to Lenin at 18:00, 19:00 and 20:00.
