The US President-elect Donald trump in an interview with The Wall Street Journal admitted that he changed his mind completely cancel the program, affordable health care, also known as Obamacare (Affordable Care Act).

According to trump, it revised its position after talks with the current head of state Barack Obama.

Now he intends to keep at least two provisions of this program. In particular, trump did not intend to abolish the prohibition for insurers to refuse their services because of the state of health of the patient, and the ability for parents to provide additional medical support to children through its own policies. “These ideas I really like,” said the new President of the United States.

Obamacare repeal was one of the main election promises trump. Criticizing the current administration, he called the program a catastrophic mistake, and also stated that Hillary Clinton’s affordable health care an even greater burden will fall on the shoulders of American citizens.

The law on the reform of the health system was adopted in 2010 in order to give the opportunity to get health insurance to 48 million Americans who do not receive it from their employers, the state, and not having a private insurance policy. The authors of the law hoped to slow down the rising cost of medical services and to ensure that private health insurance system meet the necessary criteria.

At the same time, however, all Americans were obliged to buy medical insurance, which is the most expensive in the world. In the US Obamacare is causing mixed reactions, and now former health Minister Kathleen Sebelius resigned six months later after the program.
