Fishermen from North Korea have become involved in two more criminal cases after the attack on 15 October, Russian border guards in the sea of Japan. Thus, the number of criminal cases on this incident has reached four, reported on 25 October, the Agency “Interfax”.

As told the Agency the senior assistant head of the DVSA on transport of SK of Russia Oksana Bolshakova, “two new criminal cases, as the previous one, also initiated on the facts of violence on the part of the citizens of the DPRK in respect of border – part 1 of article 318 of the criminal code”.

According to investigators, on 15 October in the sea of Japan in the exclusive economic zone of the Russian Federation patrol ship of the border Department of the FSB in Primorsky Krai was stopped a North Korean fishing vessel Dae Yang 10 with 48 citizens of the DPRK.

During the inspection of several foreign fishermen attacked the guards, causing one of them got a concussion. However, as noted 25 Oct Bolshakova, during check it was established that the injuries received by two border guards.

However, during the incident Russian border guards took retaliatory measures against foreign fishermen. As a result of the actions of the officers of the border Department of the FSB, nine people were injured. When one of them later died. North Korean authorities have been notified about the incident.
