Ukraine may lose the right to host the musical competition “Eurovision-2017″ due to the delay in its organization. This Ukrainian news service TSN said the acting head of the National television company of Ukraine (NTU) Alexander Harbin.

According to him, the European broadcasting Union, which owns the brand name of “Eurovision” showed NTU “red card” in connection with failure of terms.

The final decision on whether there will be a pop contest in Kiev, the European broadcasting Union should adopt at the General Assembly on 8 December.

Among the reasons for this decision Harabin called the Ukrainian bureaucracy, imperfection of the legislative acts, as well as the dismissive attitude of some officials to the competition.

He believes that the chances to keep the contest is: according to him, in October, Ukraine reduced the backlog in the schedule of training from three months to one month.

The Eurovision song contest takes place in may. In 2016, Stockholme victory of the Ukrainian singer Jamal with a song “1944”. The second was a singer from Australia Demi Them, the third – Russian singer Sergey Lazarev.

At the end of October it became known that the Russian representative will take part in the competition in 2017, despite the deterioration in relations between the two countries.
