Weightlifter from Uzbekistan Ruslan nurudinov won the gold at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the weight category up to 105 kg.

On the amount of exercises the snatch and the clean and jerk the winner scored 431 (194 + 237) kg and in the clean and jerk Nurudinov set a new Olympic record.

Second place went to Armenian weightlifter Simon Martirosyan (417, 190+227). The third was the representative of Kazakhstan Alexander Bunnies (416, 193+223).

The Olympic tournament of weightlifters will end on Tuesday with the draw of the sets of medals among men in the heavyweight weight category over 105 kg.

Recall that the Russian weight lifters in the Olympic games do not compete. The international weightlifting Federation (IWF) on 29 July has removed them from participation in the 2016 Games because of the numerous cases of violation of anti-doping rules. Arbitration the situation has not changed.
