The President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro intends to “soon” to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to discuss various aspects of development cooperation between the two countries. The leader of the Bolivarian Republic said the night before, the TV channel Venezolana de Televisión.

“Very soon, very soon I will meet with President Vladimir Putin, to specify agreement in all spheres – military, financial, economic, agricultural, trade, and to announce the good news in respect of market stabilization and recovery of prices (oil),” said Maduro at a meeting with the producers of Portuguesa state (quoted by TASS).

The exact date of the alleged meeting of Maduro with the Russian leader, the Venezuelan government has not published yet.

The last time Putin and Maduro met in November 2015 at the Tehran summit of the Forum of gas exporting countries.
