Russian President Vladimir Putin believes it necessary to legally prescribe rules of formation of the Russian club teams to the national sport is not lost professionals, and athletes were interested to play in Russia, reports “Interfax”.

“Certain requirements must be: played here for a while, and then you can go somewhere. Legislation needs to prescribe appropriately so that the boys were interested, and that our clubs do not lose, and that we were a part of the global sports movement, including in the field of football and hockey,” said Putin on Saturday during a meeting with the workers of the company “Autodiesel” in Yaroslavl.

As stressed by the head of state, “sports school we have a very good, it generates a large number of talented, promising children, and of course, that is, on the labor market demand for them, taking them everywhere.”

“We need to create conditions so that they didn’t want to leave – the financial conditions, conditions for training. And we’re working on it”, – Putin said.

On the question of what football and hockey team, he hurts Putin replied: “I have no right to root for any particular team, I cheer for the national teams, and love to see the beautiful game”.

“To be honest, the beautiful game national team we have not seen, and hockey players, of course, encouraging, although here we have a lot to do,” said the President.
