American swimmer Ryan lochte disqualified for a false statement about the robbery during the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro. The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the Federation of swimming of the country (USA Swimming) has suspended six-time Olympic champion from competition for 10 months. Lochte also deprived of the $ 100 thousand prize for her performance at the 2016 Games and will be forced to complete 20 hours of community service.
The reason for the punishment was the incident in Brazil during the 2016 Games. Lochte was one of four American swimmers who came into conflict with the employees of the gas station in Rio de Janeiro, and then gave false testimony to the police, reminds “Interfax”.
The original version swimmers, announced Olympic champion lochte, was in that taxi in which there were athletes, were stopped by people, posing as police officers.
