These are the results of poll of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM), conducted in late September in 130 populated localities in 46 regions, territories and republics and nine Federal district of Russia in the study “Purchases and savings”.

As for the attitude of Russians to banks, the number of supporters of the idea to take all the money from the Bank, almost equal to the number of those who believe that free money is better put in the Bank (36% and 38%, respectively). However, if the latest year increased (33% in January), the number of opponents of keeping money in the Bank for the same period declined (it was 41%).

Since September of last year practically did not change the proportion of Russians who do not want to spend money – 61%, and those who prefer to hurry to leave salary or pension, – 25%. For comparison, in 2015, the ratio was 64% and 23%, respectively.

Finally, the share of respondents calling the current time for inappropriate loans, at 80% and still significantly exceeds the share of positive responses – 9%.

“Our eyes are in the household sector, a trend is developing sustainable, efficient behavior: the Russians are still very wary of its spending, but are increasingly willing to invest the saved cash, – says the expert polls Oleg chernozub.
