Employees of the us company Yahoo! last year at the request of US intelligence have created software for analyzing and processing all incoming emails to the Internet users of its mail service. According to Reuters, which cites sources familiar with the situation, this was done to help American intelligence.

According to journalists, the head of Yahoo! Marissa Mayer has received a demand in the form of a secret Directive from either the national security Agency (NSA) or Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) and requested developers a mail service Yahoo! to create the corresponding program.

While Mayer has not disclosed to the security company, which after a few weeks of the program found her and took over the actions of hackers. Knowing that the creation of the program was authorized by the head of the company, head of services Alex Stamos resigned, the Agency said.
