In Moscow in honor of the 99th anniversary of the great October socialist revolution took to the streets, supporters of the Communist party and other left-wing parties. The Central Committee of the Communist party together with the Movement in support of the army, the Union of Soviet officers, national women’s movement “Hope of Russia”, Lenin’s Communist youth Union and other supporters organized a March and a rally-concert.

At the rally, Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov stated the willingness of his party to recreate the Soviet Union. “We will do everything to bring back the Soviet power in order to promote ideas of the Great October again to recreate our powerful, torn down in 1991, the state”, – declared the leader of the Russian Communists (quoted by “Interfax”).

He also gave the audience greetings from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, noting that “all the best of the Soviet history, we will build on and advance, and this story was legendary, it remained for us a beacon for the future.”

“We are entering the year of the centenary, join a cohesive and powerful team, we have our own program. There is a clear and clear objective – to revive the great allied powers”, – concluded the leader of the Communist party.

The participants were appointed at 15:00 on Strastnoy Boulevard. According to the Agency “Interfax”, just in the mass procession, which began at Pushkin square and journeyed in the direction of Petrovka street, was attended by about two thousand people. The event ended with a rally at the Theatre square around 17:00 Moscow time.

As reported by the journalists of the Agency, participants of the rally were carrying portraits of Joseph Stalin, Che Guevara, flags and banners. There were Patriotic songs of the Soviet era, in particular, “Is at the beginning of the revolution, no revolution at the end.”
